Katherine B.

I had one-on-one sessions with Natania when she first began Pilax. Natania is very detail oriented in her work. When I told her I had pain in my lower back, she found the exact muscle that was bothering me and gave me exercises to help it. She also has provided me a lot of invaluable nutrition advice that has helped me so much. As a beginner I was intimidated to take Pilates, but Natania is so kind, attentive and tailors everything to you. I know her videos will be as if she is right there with you.

Pilax Pilates Success Stories.

P1260097.JPG

Former country-relocator, always out to learn about new cultures and dance, only stopped by the pandemic and subsequently covid; I began learning Pilates in 2015.

I took it while exhausted or barely awake and discovered how useful it could be even when worn out. I completed my Mat certificate with Balanced Body Pilates in 2020 and began teaching in a pandemic environment, immediately applying all my learnings about exhaustion while moving, dance training and creation in limited spaces, like many other creatives I knew.

I had clients who were burnt out, out of fitness due to lack of gym access and full of small injuries that were starting to add up. From there I developed Pilax, integrating relaxation techniques and sticking to the original Joseph Pilates methods of working the body all over and not just one spot. I soon began applying my methods outside the laptop walls in-person.

Once I caught covid myself and developed ongoing fatigue, I applied further learning from my former physio sessions as a dancer, careful experimentation and research into a gentler format, initially only designed for myself. I added this into my routines for anyone with CFS and went on to form RiseUp as an addition to Pilax Pilates.
